Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Wheat Ridge's Longer Table. Below is information about the roles available. Please select which roles you are willing to fill. You will then be assigned a role based on your preferences.
Event Setup
Tables and Chairs
Description: Work as a team to carry and place all of the tables and chairs to create one long table with 300 seats.
Time Commitment: 9 a.m. - noon
Seat at the Table: Yes! This volunteer shift will end as the event begins, and you'll be able to participate as a guest at the table.
Table Setting
Description: Help us set the table including placing tablecloths, centerpieces, cups, pitchers of water and lemonade, and more.
Time Commitment: 9 a.m. - noon

During Event
Hospitality and Greeting
Description: Welcome guests as they arrive! You'll either be pointing people towards the check-in table or staffing the check-in table itself.
Time Commitment: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Seat at the Table: No. This shift will take place during the event. However, you will still be able to grab food and chat with guests and other volunteers.
Buffet
Description: Assist Esters with setting up the buffet and refilling as needed.
Time Commitment: 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Seat at the Table: No. This shift will take place during the event. However, you will still be able to grab food and chat with guests and other volunteers.
After Event
Cleanup
Description: Stay after to help us clean up and get the park back to new!
Time Commitment: 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Seat at the Table: Yes! This volunteer shift will begin as the event ends. You'll be able to participate as a guest at the table before your shift and stay to help cleanup.
