TRAVEL ALERT: Northbound Wadsworth Boulevard ramp to eastbound I-70/I-76 overnight closures April 21 - 25

An overhead sign structure will be installed on northbound Wadsworth Boulevard south of I-70 during the week of April 20. Overnight single lane closures are expected on northbound and southbound Wadsworth Boulevard starting on Monday, April 21 through Friday, April 25 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night. A single northbound lane will shift west of the center median and adjacent to a single southbound lane. Follow all signs and crew instructions, and please slow for the cone zone.

The northbound Wadsworth Boulevard on-ramp to eastbound I-70/I-76 will be closed from 7 p.m. - 6 a.m. each night. These safety closures are necessary during crane operations over the northbound Wadsworth Boulevard travel lanes. A detour route will be provided, and alternate routes are advised. The detour will direct drivers to continue north on Wadsworth, turn right (east) on 52nd Avenue, and continue 1.5 miles to Sheridan Boulevard to access I-70 to the south or I-76 to the north. A suggested alternate route is 44th Avenue to Sheridan Boulevard.
