New Grant Opportunity for Creatives!
Grant Details:
Wheat Ridge Creates can offer up to $500 per creative, per year, to assist in their continued education in the arts and/or provide financial assistance to break down barriers that many artists face, including entrance fees for shows and groups that support creatives. Although these are recommended ideas to support artists in the area, Wheat Ridge Creates will allow for any open application ideas that will be reviewed the same as applications that may be specific to continued education or art show fees to meet artists where they are in the community.
Offering up to $500 a year per creative provides Wheat Ridge Creates the opportunity to give at a minimum 10 grants, more if not all artists apply for the full $500.
Application Process:
Wheat Ridge Creates will facilitate a small application for creatives to apply for grant funds up to $500.
To view the application, please click here. Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis. Please allow 30-45 days after submission for an update on your application status.
Application Eligibility:
- Creative must live in Wheat Ridge
- Creative must use funding in one of the following categories:
- Education opportunity
- Membership opportunity
- Exhibition opportunity.
- Creative must expend funding within one year of application date.
- Funding opportunities are encouraged to be local in the Denver Metro area, preferred to be in Wheat Ridge.
- Approved applicants will be reimbursed for expenditures related to their application, must email receipt proof or registration proof for exhibitions.
