About the Project
Bike Jeffco, the Wheat Ridge Active Transportation Advisory Team, and the City collaborated on the 2024 Safe Routes to Parks Activating Communities Program. During this nine-month program, the Safe Routes Partnership worked with the coalition to provide technical assistance and analysis that will lead to recommendations aimed to improve pedestrian and cyclist travel to local parks and green spaces. This work is partly informed by the Let's Talk program, the Bike/Ped Master Plan, the Open Space Management Plan, and sub-area plans like the 44th Ave Sub-Area Plan.
