Engage Wheat Ridge Kick Off
Join us for an evening celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Colorado's statehood and the 250th Anniversary of our country! We'll have a patriotic bike parade, a conversation with Wheat Ridge's elected officials about the future of our city, a live performance from the Soundtrack Chamber Orchestra, and a viewing of the movie "The Sandlot". Bring something to add to the table. Wheat Ridge Kiwanis will be grilling hot dogs for everyone!

District I Cares
Join District I City Councilors for updates at one of our great facilities, the Active Adult Center (6363 W 35th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033) from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. They will provide treats, have an activity putting together hygiene kits for the city homeless navigators to pass out, and have general discussions/Q&A.

District I office hours are moving to happy hour! Join Councilors Martell and Snell on the patio at West 29th Restaurant (5560 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80214) from 5 to 7 p.m. You bring the questions, neighbors, and conversation, they will bring the updates, light apps, and NA drinks. Food and drink available for purchase.

Join the Mayor from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers (7500 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033) for a behind-the-scenes look at Council Chambers along with tips and tricks for getting the most out of watching, participating in, and interacting with City Council meetings. You may feel so confident by the end that you’ll want to run for Council yourself!

District I Community Cookout
Join District I City Councilors for a community cookout at the Richard Hart Estate and park (Benton St & W 28th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80214) from 3 to 5:30 p.m. for tours of the Richard Hart Estate. Then, head over to the Green at 38th (7101 W 38th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033) for a concert in the park. Parks and Recreation Director Karen O’Donnell will join to talk about the Richard Hart Estate, Keep Anderson Afloat, and other great happenings with Parks & Rec.

Engage Wheat Ridge Wrap Up Pool Party
As a token of appreciation for attending at least one Engage Wheat Ridge event, participants are invited to a wrap up pool party at Anderson Pool (4355 Field St., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033) from 5 to 7 p.m.
Join us for an evening of swimming, a disco-themed DJ experience, and complimentary food and beverages. Be sure to bring your pool towel, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle.
Pre-registration for this event is required as space is limited. Sign-ups will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the pool capacity (300) is met. Register at the link provided via email or postcard.
