Each year, a committee comprised of Wheat Ridge residents reviews funding requests from non profit agencies that enrich the lives of those who live, work and play in Wheat Ridge, along with other partners including Carnation Festival, Wheat Ridge Business District and Localworks.

On October 5, City Manager Patrick Goff and his leadership team will present the 2027 budget to City Council. Following a detailed presentation, City Council asks questions and considers the total funding request. Find out how to watch and participate.

At the October 26 regular business meeting, City Council will formally take action on the 2027 budget in an official public hearing.
